A Path to Stability

Our Stay on Track program offers critical stabilization support for families transitioning from shelter to permanent housing.

Shelter Program

Who We Serve

Families may stay for up to 90 days while receiving a full range of support services. Once they transition into permanent housing, they remain in our 12-month follow-up program for continued support and success.

Once families have met the following criteria, they are invited to participate:

  • Secured and maintained full-time employment

  • Successfully followed the guidelines of our Freedom House Shelter Program

  • Built sufficient savings

  • Located affordable housing

Through this program, families receive ongoing case management, including monthly in-home visits to help address challenges that may arise as they adjust to independent living. We continue to provide Case Management services, along with referrals to valuable community resources and services.

Families who commit to the Stay on Track program may receive partial financial assistance for:

  • Security deposits
  • Rent
  • Utility connections
  • Moving expenses

Additionally, we support families by providing basic household items, furniture, and back-to-school supplies to help them thrive in their new home. Support continues for up to one year after exiting the Freedom House Shelter Program, ensuring families remain stable and confident on their journey toward lasting independence.
